November 2008 | Figleaves Casio Warehouse delivery
John delivers the figleaves.com Casio project in perfect time for Christmas. Figleaves.com is the world's largest online branded e-tailer for a wide selection of lingerie, swimwear, sleepwear and hosiery. Available 24/7 Figleaves.com system holds over 100 brands, 5,500 product colours and 25,000 SKUs. Due to the high volume of figleaves.com orders, the initial batch of Casio hand-held terminals will have to do in excess of 24 million picks and 72 million scans in their life-time When figleaves.com chose to upgrade to the new Casio DT-X7 they chose KSL Consultants to deliver the project. John worked with Casio, the in-house technology team and off-site developer. This project has been short listed as a finalist in the Retail Solutions Business
September 2008 | Journey Ant reinvents online travel
KSL Consultants are part of the founding team at JourneyAnt creating a new online application for the Travel Industry. This full-service web service brings together everything needed to inspire customers when they are planning their next trip. With the ability to capture all aspects of the multiple travel segments in one booking, and to incorporate the customers' preferences, JourneyAnt is able to take care of every dimension that goes into creating the perfect holiday.
January 2007 | KSL helps VisitBritain
Funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, VisitBritain's mission is two-fold: to increase the volume and value of inbound tourism to Britain and to increase the volume and value of tourism in England. KSL engaged with VisitBritain on the redesign of it's VisitBritain and EnjoyEngland websites. Other projects have included requirements for a new E-commerce platform, CRM, Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing and SEO teams. Projects were managed by both Kavita and John. Kavita provided the details designs for a number of solutions and Theo was involved extensively in creating manuals and reviewing training. Jason acted as tester.
November 2006 | KSL invests in Digital Deli
KSL invests into a new venture providing streaming video for a social network of film makers. Kavita worked as both CTO and board director on this project.
August 2005 | Tandberg video on demand demo
Tandberg TV required a VOD demo for IBC 2004 and new features for IBC 2005. This involved an Open TV Set Top box application, N2Broadband Storage system, Entone streaming servers, Tandberg Modulators and a lightweight Mindset instance. Kavita managed the development of Mindset version 1, a Mindhouse product along with a CNN STB interactive application using, Liberate technologies. Acting as technical lead and delivery manager, she delivered a set of applications that can be repurposed for a number of EMEA countries and extended to include an Emuse-based Open TV application.
May 2005 | UK Film Council / Screen South's Good Foundations
Gael and Kavita successfully complete regional Screen South's Good Foundations Plus program 2005. Good Foundations is a Screen South training and development programme for producers, writers and directors. The emphasis is on delivering creative market-aware projects which have a sensible finance and business plan attached.
